Comprised of 6 easily separated strands, this thread allows you to modify your stitches based on how many threads you use. The DMC cottons are made with 100% long staple cotton, double mercerised thread.Andcolours are washable and fade resistant (variegated colours are shown with a V after their number)
More than that, DMC cottons are reliable. One of their distinct advantages is they are colour fast—you’re less likely to have problems with the colours bleeding. Over-dyed, hand-dyed, and other cottons are not as reliable. Another advantage is that DMC cottons are widely available and relatively inexpensive.
